Project: Living Stereo, “Ecid and Impulse” Album Packaging    Client: Substance Abuse Music     2005

 

Right before this project, I discovered the wonders of the dover clip art library. Previous to that, if I needed an image I had to dig it up at the library or google it, then distort it beyond recognition. Not with dover though, its royalty free so I can steal as much as I want. As I did liberally for this project. You might not be able to tell, but there is actually close to 40 images smashed up on the front cover alone. It wasn’t to long after this, I discovered that everyone and there mom already knows about and uses dover art. Damnit! I thought I was the first! Anyway, I still use it from time to time, but I try not to rely on it as much. This is still one of my favorite pieces though.
